Students who have secured more than 75% marks (Star Marks and above) in HSLC, High Madrassa and FM Examinations conducted by SEBA and State Madrassa Education Board, Assam need to register themselves by filling up the datasheet to avail the Anundoram Borooah Award in the form of a Certificate and a personal computer(PC). The beneficiaries will also get Digital Academic Contents as per NCERT syllabus for the beneficiaries as per stream of classes XI and XII along with Online Learning, Coaching and Score Improvement System for appearing in competitive examinations for students of class XI and XII of Science stream.
The applicant will have to upload the following:- Pass Certificate duly attested and counter signed by the Head of the Institution from which the applicant passed out in PDF file format.
- A self attested passport size photograph of the applicant in JPG file format.

During on-line registration for filling up the data
sheet students need to
submit their primary information like name, mobile
number, father/guardian's name etc.
Further, they have to upload the Pass Certificate
duly attested and counter signed by the Head of the Institution from
which the applicant passed out in PDF file format and a self attested
passport size photograph of the applicant in JPG file format.
On successful completion of the above steps, the
applicant will get an acknowledgment against his/her registration.
For the last few years, the Government of Assam has been confering the prestigious Anundoram Borooah Award with citation in the form of a Certificate alongwith a personal computer(PC) to honour the meritorious students securing Star Marks and above in the HSLC, High Madrassa and FM Examinations conducted by SEBA and State Madrassa Education Board, Assam.
The Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme was launched by the Govt. of Assam in the year 2005 with the sole aim of enhancing healthy competition amongst the student community and to help them to enrich their perception through up-to-date knowledge and information with the help of IT education. In this age of globalization, Information Technology already has significantly altered many aspects of life and in recent years this robust field has made its place into the academic curriculum of schools and colleges up to the university level. Therefore, looking at the present scenario of the innate potentialities of the IT industry, the Government of Assam has made an effort to promote IT education through this unique scheme.
